About Me

Milo Warrior (he/him) is an artist based in Denton, Texas, dedicated to composing musical works, performing in, and directing ensembles of various sizes. His musical journey began in 2017 with his first choral program, leading to a rich pre-collegiate experience, and to his current membership within the UNT University Singers. He is currently working towards a BM in Choral Music Education from the University of North Texas.

 

An active composer of concert music, Milo Warrior has written a diverse repertoire, spanning from jazz a cappella arrangements of popular songs to larger choral compositions for invited ensembles. His most recent work is Willow, an SATB composition performed by various members of the UNT choir program. He is inspired to create by a large number of artists, including but not limited to Runestad, Gershwin, Debussy, and Poulenc. He is currently working on expanding his portfolio, and creating new musical works.
