About Milo Warrior
Milo Warrior (he/him) is an artist based in Denton, Texas, dedicated to composing musical works, performing in, and directing ensembles of various sizes. His musical journey began in 2017 with his first choral program, leading to a rich pre-collegiate experience, and to his current membership within the UNT University Singers. He is currently working towards a BM in Choral Music Education from the University of North Texas.


Willow: A New Choral Work
Upon his visitation of Frida Kahlo’s Month in Paris art exhibit in Chicago, Milo Warrior had one motive in his mind: to create. Inspired by the Poetry Foundation and the poetic works of Russian poet Anna Akhmatova, he began work on Willow, a choral piece inspired by the natural forces present in his life.

“for winter” is a work i began in the winter of 2025, using artistic expression as a way to process and heal. at the core of this piece lies the idea of love; what it means to lose love, and what it means to be blessed by the greatest symbol of love we have.
